Arsenal youngster Ceadach O’Neill has received another senior call-up from Northern Ireland, following his recent Gunners first-team debut.

Northern Ireland have confirmed Michael O’Neill’s squad for the upcoming November international break, and Arsenal’s Ceadach O’Neill is set for involvement once again.
18-year-old Ceadach has already made four senior appearances for Northern Ireland since his debut in June, including two competitive games.
Two more competitive appearances would lock him in with Northern Ireland for good, following the heated recent debate over his potential eligibility to play for the Republic of Ireland instead.

Yet there’s no suggestion these are just token call-ups to solidify O’Neill’s future. After all, the teenager just made his first-team debut for the reigning champions of the Premier League, and he was with the squad again last weekend.
If he’s good enough to do that, it’s no surprise he’s also getting international opportunities.
Following O’Neill’s Arsenal debut, he wrote on social media that he was “grateful”, adding that the debut was a “dream come true”. To prove that point, he attached a picture of himself as a child, wearing an Arsenal shirt.

The forward joined Arsenal in 2024, initially playing for the club’s u18 side. He’s since worked his way up through the u19s and u21s to reach the senior team, and he seems to be highly-rated by the first-team coaches.
Internationally, O’Neill has progressed from the Northern Ireland u16s in 2022 to the senior side in 2026. It’s been a rapid rise so far, and it seems there’s more to come.
