Seven Arsenal players have been called up to the England youth teams, including in-form summer signings Mylo Bernard and Vincent Joseph.
Following the news that Max Dowman, Ethan Nwaneri, and Tommy Setford have all been included in the England u21 squad for the upcoming November internationals, four more Arsenal players have been called up in the younger age groups.
Marli Salmon has received what is technically his second call-up to the England u18s. Though considering he had to pull out of the last break with an injury, this is the first time he’ll actually get the chance to play for the side.
Then goalkeeper Charlie Phillips and forwards Mylo Bernard and Vincent Joseph have all been called up to the England u17 squad.
Bernard and Joseph joined Arsenal from Crystal Palace and Liverpool over the summer, and they’ve scored three goals each in the u18 Premier League for their new side, despite only making four and two league appearances respectively.
The England u21s will be playing a couple of friendly matches in Bristol over the November break, facing Portugal and France.
The u18s have three friendly fixtures on the schedule, playing the Netherlands, Sweden, and Switzerland at a neutral Spanish venue in Valencia.
Then the u17s will be playing u17 European Championship qualifiers, facing Montenegro, Poland, and Ukraine at St. George’s Park. The full fixture list is below.
