Arsenal-linked winger Christos Tzolis publicly admitted in recent weeks that he’s hoping the Gunners try to sign him this summer.

Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis has been strongly linked with Arsenal in recent days, which has caused a recent interview with the 24-year-old to resurface online.
Speaking in the days prior to the Champions League final, Tzolis was asked about his prediction for the game (which was that Arsenal would win), before being asked whether the Gunners might be his future club.
“My future club? Haha, I don’t know!” Tzolis told DH Les Sports+. “I hope that they (Arsenal) come for me. But honestly, I don’t know. If Arsenal come, it would be a privilege for every player to play for [them].”

David Ornstein reported for The Athletic this week that Arsenal are exploring a deal to sign Tzolis, with sources believing the move could be possible for around €40m (£34.5m).
Ornstein added that the pursuit of Tzolis wouldn’t impact Arsenal’s pursuit of Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers or an alternative target (with Bradley Barcola of PSG increasingly linked with the Gunners by other media reports).
Instead, signing the Club Brugge winger is seen simply as a market opportunity.

24-year-old Tzolis had an excellent season with Club Brugge in 2025/26, scoring 17 goals and assisting 23 in league football alone.
In all competitions, he racked up 51 goal contributions in 52 games, including five goal contributions in Champions League qualifiers and a further three in the competition proper.
Arsenal can attest to the fact that it’s possible to make the jump from Belgian football to the Premier League, as that’s exactly what Leandro Trossard has done over the last decade. Trossard now may be the player to make way for Tzolis’ arrival, but that remains to be seen.
