Arsenal are working on a deal to sign Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge, hoping to make the winger one of a number of attacking additions to Mikel Arteta’s squad this summer.

After football insider Hand of Arsenal reported earlier in the day that Arsenal had made serious checks on Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis, David Ornstein confirmed for The Athletic that the Gunners are exploring a deal to sign the player.
According to Ornstein’s report, sources believe a deal could be possible for around €40m (£34.5m).
A move for Tzolis reportedly wouldn’t impact Arsenal’s pursuit of Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers or an alternative target (with Bradley Barcola of PSG increasingly linked with the Gunners by other media reports).

Sami Mokbel reports for the BBC that Arsenal have been offered Tzolis, and they’re considering accelerating a move.
Andrea Berta is reportedly actively working on the potential deal, and Arsenal recruitment staffer Maurizio Micheli flew to Sweden last week to watch the winger playing for Greece. Mikel Arteta is reportedly also on board with the signing.
Fabrizio Romano claims the Gunners have made an initial approach, holding talks on the player’s side and the club’s side of things. Romano clarifies that Arsenal remain interested in Jeremy Monga of Leicester City as well as either Rogers or Barcola.

24-year-old Tzolis had an excellent season with Club Brugge in 2025/26, scoring 17 goals and assisting 23 in league football alone.
In all competitions, he racked up 51 goal contributions in 52 games, including five goal contributions in Champions League qualifiers and a further three in the competition proper.
Arsenal can attest to the fact that it’s possible to make the jump from Belgian football to the Premier League, as that’s exactly what Leandro Trossard has done over the last decade.
Funnily enough, Trossard may now be the player to make way this summer for new attacking signings.
