Arsenal are interested in young AC Milan goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani, following the 20-year-old’s impressive pre-season display against the Gunners.

Luca Bianchin reports for Italian outlet Gazzetta.it that AC Milan need to work on resolving Lorenzo Torriani’s future amid interest from Arsenal.
The Gunners are reportedly “very interested” following Torriani’s display for Milan against them in pre-season, with the goalkeeper saving three penalties in the shootout after making a couple of strong stops in normal time following his 66th-minute introduction.

Milan are reportedly calm about the situation, not believing Arsenal to be a concrete threat at this stage. The Italian club intend to keep Torriani around in January, before holding summer talks over his future.
Since that pre-season display against Arsenal, Torriani has largely played for Milan Futuro in Serie D, appearing 10 times and keeping a couple of clean sheets.
Torriani has made some appearances in Milan’s first-team squad too, but not nearly as many as last season.
The goalkeeper has made the bench five times in 2025/26 (never coming on), whereas he made 51 appearances in the squad in 2024/25, including two substitute showings on the pitch.

Perhaps Torriani’s more limited first-team opportunities create an opening for Arsenal to persuade him to move across Europe to north London, but it looks like that decision will be made in the summer.
