With the final international break now over, Bukayo Saka has returned to full training, so let’s take a look at where Arsenal stand in terms of injured players as we head into the business end of the season.
Arsenal injuries overview
- Riccardo Calafiori (knee, return expected 10-17 April 2025)
- Lucas Nygaard (broken finger, return 25/26)
- Kai Havertz (hamstring, recovering from surgery, return 25/26)
- Gabriel Jesus (ACL injury, left knee, return 25/26)
- Bukayo Saka (hamstring, required surgery, return April 2025)
- Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee, required surgery in Feb 25, return end of 2025)
From the list of injured players above, only Riccardo Calafiori and Bukayo Saka will play again this season.

The Italian fell awkwardly while on international duty on March 20th. Although he was able to leave the pitch unaided, he was seen limping from the stadium. He is expected to be sidelined for another couple of weeks.
Before the international break, Mikel Arteta said he was hopeful Bukayo Saka would be back after it.
Speaking ahead of Arsenal’s game against Chelsea, Arteta said, “He’s getting closer, he’s stepping up and making very good progress I would say. So, let’s see when we start to throw him in with the team, how he reacts and how fit he can get quickly.”
With players returning to the London Colney after international duty, it looks like Saka is waiting to join them in training.
‘Hello again’ indeed!
