Arsenal are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Juventus winger Federico Chiesa, as their need for attacking reinforcements intensifies.

The Gunners are in the market for a forward with the likely departure of Eddie Nketiah on loan to Marseille, with an obligation to buy.

Chiesa, a versatile attacker known for his pace, dribbling, and finishing ability, has emerged as a potential target for Arsenal. The 26-year-old Italian international can play on either wing or as a second striker, offering Mikel Arteta tactical flexibility in the final third.

While initial inquiries have been made about Chiesa’s availability and Juventus‘ financial demands, no formal offer has been submitted. The Bianconeri are reportedly open to selling Chiesa abroad and are believed to be seeking a fee in the region of €40-50 million. He is worth around €35m.

Chiesa’s potential arrival at the Emirates Stadium would add another dimension to Arsenal’s attack. His directness, creativity, and goalscoring threat would complement the likes of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Leandro Trossard. Additionally, his experience in Serie A and on the international stage would bring a winning mentality to the squad.

However, Arsenal face competition from other clubs for Chiesa’s signature. Roma has also expressed interest in the Italian winger, although their preference is reportedly for another Juventus player, Matias Soulé.

Arsenal are also exploring other options to strengthen their attack, including Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao, Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP, and Victor Osimhen from Napoli. Each player brings unique qualities to the table, but Chiesa’s versatility and proven track record in a top league make him a compelling option.

Arsenal were previously linked with Chiesa last summer and then again in January as contract negotiations with Juventus failed. With no new deal yet agreed, his current contract is set to expire next summer.

As the transfer window progresses, Arsenal’s pursuit of attacking reinforcements is likely to intensify. With several targets in their sights, the Gunners are determined to add firepower to their squad and challenge for major honours in the upcoming season.

While Chiesa’s future remains uncertain, his potential move to Arsenal would undoubtedly be a significant move for the club.
