Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale attended the play-off final between Southampton and Leeds United on Sunday, dressed in an amusing costume.
As Southampton and Leeds United faced off for a chance to play in next season’s Premier League on Sunday at Wembley, Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale was in the stands in the Southampton end.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper was caught on camera wearing a wig and at times a black beard, as he cheered the Saints on.

But rather than being a Southampton fan, reports suggest Ramsdale was at the game to support Southampton’s David Brooks.
The former Sheffield United and Bournemouth teammates became close friends during their time at the two clubs, and that friendship is evidently still intact.
Whatever the reason for Ramsdale’s appearance in the Saints end, it was certainly the place to be on the day.
Southampton won the match 1-0 to secure their return to the Premier League, leading to jubilant scenes in their end upon the full-time whistle.
As above, Ramsdale was pictured with Brooks after the game, celebrating the result.
Ramsdale has been called up by England in Gareth Southgate’s provisional Euro 2024 squad, and he’s expected to be on the plane for the tournament in the final 26.
After that, Ramsdale’s future remains a mystery, with reports linking him with a transfer away from Arsenal, perhaps to Newcastle United.
