Joshua Zirkzee is turning heads with his performances for Bologna in Serie A.

The young striker’s impressive form and his reluctance to return to parent club Bayern Munich have put him on the radar of several clubs, including Arsenal.

Could Zirkzee be the solution to Arsenal’s search for a promising young striker?

Joshua Zirkzee‘s impressive performances for Bologna this season have reportedly caught the attention of Arsenal. According to Tuttosport, the Gunners are among several clubs considering a summer move for the talented young striker.

Zirkzee’s goal-scoring form in Serie A – 11 goals and six assists in 32 games – has put him on the radar of teams across Europe. His reluctance to return to parent club Bayern Munich further increases his appeal to potential suitors.

Whether Zirkzee represents a significant upgrade for Arsenal‘s forward line remains debatable. While his age (22) and potential are attractive, his Serie A goal tally, though solid, is not exceptional. Arsenal fans might question whether Zirkzee is the prolific goalscorer they crave.

Perhaps Arsenal envision Zirkzee as a valuable squad player rather than a high-profile starting striker. If this is the case, it could be a shrewd move, potentially saving funds for other targets.

Arsenal face competition for Zirkzee’s signature, with Italian giants AC Milan and Juventus also reportedly interested. The player’s preference to stay outside of Germany could play a crucial role in his final destination.
