Arsenal are reportedly in a strong position to sign Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee this summer, with reports suggesting the Gunners have a €6m salary offer ready for the in-demand striker. Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has emphasised Arsenal‘s serious interest, positioning them among the frontrunners for his signature.

Zirkzee’s impressive season with Bologna has put him on the radar of several European clubs. His 11 goals and six assists in 32 matches showcase his attacking abilities. Arsenal‘s interest is further backed up by Corriere dello Sport, who describe the Gunners as “fighting” alongside Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan to secure the Dutchman’s services.

Bologna‘s impressive form under manager Thiago Motta has brought success, but also increased attention on both the manager and key players. The Serie A side is reportedly concerned about a potential exodus this summer, with Zirkzee being a player they fear they could lose.

Arsenal‘s proactive stance, with a reported salary offer already prepared, sets them apart in the race for Zirkzee. The club’s willingness to act decisively could sway the young striker, positioning them to outpace their Serie A rivals in the transfer chase.
