Arsenal teenagers Luis Brown and Kamarni Ryan are both out on trial with other clubs at the moment, with the Gunners already having informed them that they won’t be offered professional contracts.

Brown is on trial with West Ham United, starting for the club’s u18 side against Aston Villa at the weekend.

Brown played the full 90 minutes as West Ham won 4-2, bouncing back from going 2-0 down in the first three minutes with the help of three goals between the 89th and 97th minutes of the match.

The Arsenal 18-year-old was playing in defence as usual, with West Ham using a three-at-the-back system with Brown as a centre-back.

A couple of days later, it was confirmed that Ryan is on trial with Watford as he played in a heavy u21 defeat to Millwall.

Ryan was operating on the left of midfield, and Sebastien of youth football site Seb4stien reported that the player had positive moments on an individual basis despite the poor team performance.

Youth players often go out on trial in these circumstances, attempting to impress at one or two clubs before they find one that suits them.

Fellow Arsenal youngster Omari Benjamin recently scored on a trial with Everton against the Tottenham Hotspur u21s, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Coby Small and Noah Cooper getting trials soon too. Neither will receive a professional Arsenal deal.
