While Arsenal remains open to offers for Eddie Nketiah, they’ve reportedly placed a hefty valuation on the player reflecting his status as an English player.

Reports of a €50 million asking price have sparked debate, with some questioning the value and others seeing it as a justified reflection of Nketiah’s worth.

Rumours suggest Arsenal is open to considering offers for in-demand striker Eddie Nketiah, but only if potential buyers meet the club’s valuation. Contrary to a recent assessment by a Spanish publication, which referred to the forward as ‘Mikel Arteta‘s fraud’, Nketiah has been a valuable asset this season, contributing six goals and three assists in a bit-part role.

While the reported asking price of nearly €50 million might seem steep, Arsenal is justified in demanding a significant fee. Nketiah has proven his worth as a reliable backup scorer and creator, and the club would only consider parting ways with him for a substantial fee.

Speculation is rising that clubs such as Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur may be interested in the 24-year-old who is currently valued at €35m and has three years left on his Arsenal deal.

Arsenal‘s willingness to negotiate a possible sale shouldn’t be misconstrued as a lack of confidence in Nketiah. The club’s asking price demonstrates a desire to secure funds for a suitable replacement if he were to leave, allowing them to further strengthen their attack and pursue their ambitions.
