Arsenal look set to loan and sell a few youth players before Thursday’s deadline, with reports breaking on Wednesday night of a couple more imminent moves.

Chris Wheatley reports for LondonWorld that Omar Rekik has already completed a move for Swiss side Servette FC on loan until  the end of the 2023/24 campaign, with only the official confirmation pending.

Rekik had spent the first half of the season on loan with Wigan Athletic, but he returned to Arsenal when his short-term contract expired in January.

Elsewhere, Fabrizio Romano reports that Swansea City have agreed a deal to sign Charles Sagoe Jr. on loan until the end of the season.

Romano reports that the strong relationship between Arsenal and Swansea helped the deal to go through, following the loan of Charlie Patino last summer.

Sagoe Jr. is set to sign on the dotted line on deadline day, after previously being linked with a loan move to Sunderland.

The forward has scored three goals and assisted 10 in his 16 Arsenal youth appearances between the Premier League 2, UEFA Youth League, and the EFL Trophy this season.

The youngster also made his Arsenal first-team debut against Brentford in the League Cup back in September.

Both moves should help the Arsenal youngsters to build up some minutes in senior football ahead of the summer, when they can reassess their futures.
