Gabriel Jesus is set to be out until December, with his hamstring issue ruling him out for the next few weeks, according to a report.

Jordan Davies reports for The S*n that Gabriel Jesus’ camp are currently targeting a return to action at the start of December, ruling the striker out of the rest of this month.

Davies claims Jesus is currently undergoing rehabilitation work away from the pitches at London Colney, and there’s a sense that Arsenal need to be careful with him to avoid further setbacks.

Even if Jesus returns on time to face Wolves on December 2nd, as he’s hoping, that still leaves him missing six games in the meantime.

Arsenal travel to West Ham United in the League Cup on Wednesday night, followed by a tricky Premier League away tie against Newcastle United on Saturday.

The Gunners also have Champions League home games against Sevilla and RC Lens before the end of the month, as well as playing against Burnley (home) and Brentford (away) in further Premier League fixtures.

It’s certainly not an easy period of the season for Arsenal, and it’s one they’ll now have to get through without their first-choice striker.

Jesus scored the Champions League’s Goal of the Week in his last appearance for Arsenal against Sevilla, his third goal of the group stage.

With one further goal in the Premier League, the 26-year-old is up to four goals and one assist in 11 appearances this season. He was nominated for Arsenal’s Player of the Month award in October.
