Osman Kamara shared a picture on his Instagram story on Thursday, confirming that he’s back training following his recent injury absence.

Kamara hasn’t played for the Arsenal academy since August, missing four u18 Premier League matches and the recent EFL Trophy win over Exeter City.

The Arsenal u18s had made a mixed start to the season before Kamara’s injury, and his strong early form was one of the positives for Jack Wilshere’s side, scoring two goals in his first three games.

Now that he’s back in training again, Wilshere will hope to be able to call upon Kamara as soon as possible.

As well as his positive recent displays, Kamara was one of the top performers in Wilshere’s FA Youth Cup side last season.

Though he was often used as a substitute, the winger came on to great effect on a number of occasions, scoring a winner against Newcastle United and an equaliser against Watford to help change both results into victories.

Arsenal ended up finishing as runners-up in the tournament, but Kamara is still young enough to play for the team again this season, so maybe he’ll get another shot at cup glory.
