Now that the October international break is complete, let’s take a look at how Arsenal’s 15 internationals got on.

Arsenal’s senior squad received plenty of international call-ups for the October break, with a few notable absentees.

With Gabriel Martinelli only just returning from injury with the Gunners, Brazil opted not to call up the winger. Kieran Tierney was also absent with Scotland, after suffering a hamstring setback.

Jorginho wasn’t involved for the second break in a row. Luciano Spalletti explained in September that the midfielder was being excluded due to his lack of club minutes.

William Saliba was called up by France, but an injury revealed after Arsenal’s win over Manchester City saw him withdraw from the squad.

Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard also pulled out through injury after initially receiving call-ups.
