Fabrizio Romano reports that Arsenal are planning talks with Amario Cozier-Duberry over a new deal in the coming weeks and months, with his current contract set to expire next summer.

Discussions are reportedly ongoing, with several Premier League and European sides interested and monitoring the situation in case Arsenal fail to agree a deal.

Simon Collings reported for the Evening Standard in August that Arsenal were planning new contract talks with Cozier-Duberry, given his contract situation.

Collings wrote that Sparta Rotterdam, PSV Eindhoven, and Vitesse Arnhem are among the clubs monitoring Cozier-Duberry’s situation from the Netherlands, with Belgian side Gent also interested.

Cozier-Duberry is happy at Arsenal and highly rated by the club, joining them on the tour of the USA over the summer.

The Gunners signed Cozier-Duberry up to a professional contract as soon as he was eligible, back in the summer of 2022.

But any first pro deal has its length capped by FIFA regulations, hence why his contract is already an issue again.

Cozier-Duberry recently made his return from an injury setback that ruled him out for the England u19s over the October international break.

The winger has one goal and two assists in his five Premier League 2 appearances for the Arsenal u21s so far this season.
