There are reportedly several Premier League clubs with an interest in signing Folarin Balogun this summer, including Brighton and Crystal Palace.

Folarin Balogun’s future has been the subject of much speculation this summer, with a permanent transfer appearing to be a genuine possibility.

Yet the majority of the transfer gossip has revolved around overseas clubs, and with Arsenal reportedly wanting as much as £50m for the striker, that made a deal seem unlikely.

The Beautiful Game Podcast confirm that Arsenal are looking for £40-50m, adding that there’s also been Premier League interest in the 22-year-old.

Several Premier League clubs are interested, including Brighton and Crystal Palace. The Beautiful Game Podcast also confirm the strong interest from Germany, Italy, and France.

Balogun is expected to return to training with Arsenal this Saturday, along with the rest of the Gunners’ internationals.

L’Equipe recently reported that Marseille are considering a move for Balogun this summer, adding them to a list including Inter Milan, Napoli, AC Milan, RB Leipzig, and AS Monaco.

With a few Premier League clubs in the mix as well, it’s hard to see Arsenal budging on their valuation.

Clearly, Balogun is in high demand, and the club shouldn’t have to settle for a low fee.

The striker scored 22 goals for Stade de Reims during his loan spell in the 2022/23 campaign, before receiving a call-up from the United States Men’s National Team over the international break.

Following his first goal and first silverware with the USMNT, Balogun spoke to the media about his club future.

“What I can say is that I definitely won’t go on loan again,” Balogun said. “I’m not sure [about] the discussions that are going to take place, I’m not sure what’s going to happen.”

Fabrizio Romano then reported that a meeting would take place soon between Balogun’s agents and Arsenal, to decide his future.
