Arsenal are ready to sell Thomas Partey this summer, if they receive an appropriate bid and find a suitable replacement.

Following rumours of a potential Arsenal departure for Thomas Partey last week, those reports have now started to develop.

The Telegraph write that Arsenal are understood to be willing to cash in on Partey this summer, if they can find a suitable replacement.

Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu Gaspar are reportedly looking to refresh the Arsenal midfield this summer, and Partey’s departure could be part of that.

Fabrizio Romano reports for CaughtOffside that conversations are ongoing for Partey to leave Arsenal, with a very concrete possibility that it happens.

Yet Romano adds that a potential move is not advanced, and it will only happen if the Gunners receive a very good offer.

The Evening Standard confirm that Arsenal will consider offers for the midfielder this summer, with two years left on his current contract in north London.

Granit Xhaka’s move to Bayer Leverkusen is currently on hold as Arsenal look to secure a replacement before giving the move the green light, and the Standard report that it would be the same story with Partey.

Even if Arsenal do receive an appropriate bid, the move wouldn’t happen until a replacement could be found.

On that front, Arsenal are pursuing a number of midfield incomings, including Declan Rice and Romeo Lavia.

There’s also interest in Moises Caicedo, though there are conflicting reports over whether the Gunners are still in that race or not.
