Arsenal have reportedly sent a scout to monitor their transfer target, Sacha Boey, during a Galatasaray match in Turkey, according to Haberturk.

The Gunners are keen on signing the young French right-back, who has been making waves with his impressive performances in the Turkish league.

Scout watches Boey in action

The Arsenal scout attended Galatasaray’s match against Adana Demirspor on Saturday, keeping a close eye on Boey from the stands.

This move comes amidst increasing reports from Italy and Turkey that suggest Arsenal’s interest in the France U20 international.

Leading the race for Boey

Despite interest from Italian clubs and other suitors, Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to sign the promising 22-year-old.

Boey himself hinted at a potential move this summer during an interview with L’Equipe.

Boey’s impressive season in Turkey

Sacha Boey has been in excellent form for Galatasaray, playing a crucial role in their 2-0 victory over Adana Demirspor.

That win moved the Turkish giants nine points clear of second-placed Fenerbahce.

Born in France, Boey has represented his country at the youth level but is also eligible to play for Cameroon.

Contract talks with Galatasaray

Galatasaray are keen to retain Boey and have been in talks to extend his contract, which is set to expire in 2025.

However, the Super Lig club could be persuaded to sell the right-back, who they signed for just €1.15 million from Rennes in 2021, if the price is right.
