Boey’s impressive performances spark interest

Galatasaray’s right-back, Sacha Boey, has recently hinted in an interview with L’equipe that he might be open to a move at the end of the season.

The French U20 international has had an impressive season in Turkey, leading to transfer speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal.

Considering a new milestone

Boey shared his thoughts on his future, saying if he will leave the country at the end of the current campaign, “There, I knew the lows, the highs. My performances are regular now.

“I think it’s time to reach a milestone but we’ll see at the end of the season depending on what happens.”

The 23-year-old has been linked with several clubs across Europe, but Arsenal appears to be the frontrunner, as reported by Tuttomercatoweb and others over recent weeks.

Arteta’s interest in Boey

Turkish newspaper Aksam claims that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is particularly keen on signing Boey, who has two assists in 23 league appearances this season.

Galatasaray are first in the Super Lig, nine points ahead of second-placed Fenerbahce. If they maintain their position, the Lions will secure a Champions League spot next season.

Boey, who joined Galatasaray from Rennes for €1.15m in 2021, has a contract that runs until 2025.

His consistent performances have made him a vital player for the Turkish club, but with interest from Arsenal, a move to England might be on the horizon for the talented right-back.
