Arsenal are reportedly interested in Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Brandt again after trying to sign him a number of times in the past.

According to Bild, Arsenal are one of two clubs “hot” for the 26-year-old attacking midfielder Julian Brandt, who has nine goals and five assists this season in 30 games.

Brandt is said to be open to moving to the Premier League in the summer and has informed his close circle that he would like the move.

Borussia Dortmund, on the other hand, are said to be willing to offer him a new contract due to his improved performances this season.

The German international was bought by Borussia Dortmund from Bayer Leverkusen in 2019 for €25 million.

Julian Brandt is a German professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga and the German national team.

He was born on May 2, 1996, in Bremen, Germany.

Brandt began his professional career at Bayer Leverkusen, where he made his debut in 2014. He quickly established himself as one of the most exciting young talents in German football, earning himself a reputation as a skilful and creative attacking midfielder.

In his five seasons at Leverkusen, he made 215 appearances, scoring 42 goals and providing 51 assists.

Brandt joined Borussia Dortmund in May 2019 for a transfer fee of €25 million, signing a five-year contract with the club. He has since become a key player for Dortmund, making 157 appearances for the club, scoring 29 goals with 30 assists.

Brandt has also represented the German national team since 2016, earning 39 caps and scoring three goals.
