The Football Association (FA) is investigating an altercation between the coaching staff of Arsenal and Aston Villa during their match on Saturday.

The incident involved Arsenal analyst Miguel Molina and Villa’s Victor Manas, who used to work at Arsenal during Unai Emery’s time at the club.

The confrontation broke out in the press box in stoppage time after Arsenal scored the third goal to take a 3-2 lead.

Manas was allegedly irritated by Molina’s celebrations after Jorginho’s shot ended up in the back of the net via Emi Martinez’s head.

Stewards intervened to diffuse the situation and Molina was ejected from the media area.

According to The S*n, Manas slapped Molina, so it’s unclear why the Arsenal man was then removed.

Both analysts reportedly spoke after the game to clear the air, and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta vowed to look into the matter before deciding if they needed to take any action.

He stated, “Like anything that happens in the stands, we will look at it and address it and take action if necessary.”

Meanwhile, Aston Villa manager Unai Emery said he had not seen the incident but would ask about it.

According to MailOnline, The FA has yet to announce any disciplinary action against either club but have confirmed they are investigating the incident.
