Two more Arsenal players made their debuts for their loan clubs this weekend, at opposite ends of their respective careers.

Cedric Soares is the oldest player on the books at Arsenal at the moment, turning 32 in August, and he looks set for a summer departure as things stand.

But for the time being, the right-back is on loan at Fulham, and he made his first appearance for the club on Saturday in a 2-0 win.

Cedric only entered the fray in injury time, but he’ll be pleased to make a winning start to his loan spell all the same.

The right-back had been out of action for the first couple of games with Fulham due to his recovery from injury and his ineligibility for their FA Cup replay.

Now that he’s back, he’ll be looking to break into the starting lineup.

At the other end of the spectrum, teenager Taylor Foran made his first-ever appearance in senior football on Saturday, playing the last half an hour of Hartlepool United’s draw with Sutton United.

The centre-back helped his side see out the game for a point against a team nine places above them in the League Two standings, keeping them out of the relegation zone.

Whilst Cedric is playing for a summer move over the next few months, Foran is playing to establish himself in senior football and prove he can make the step up full-time.

We wish them both the best of luck with the rest of the campaign, after their positive introductions on Saturday.
