Fabrizio Romano reports that Shakhtar Donetsk director Darijo Srna is due in London this week, and as part of his trip, he’s expected to visit Stamford Bridge for Chelsea’s match against Manchester City.

Romano claims Chelsea and Shakhtar will discuss a potential transfer for Mudryk over the next 24 hours, but Arsenal also remain in talks and are the player’s current priority.

The same journalist previously wrote that whilst Chelsea are interested in Mudryk, the player has his heart set on joining the Premier League leaders.

Sky Sports report that it appears Mudryk wants the move “and only the move to Arsenal”, despite the links to Chelsea.

For now, however, Arsenal don’t have an agreement with Shakhtar, who are reportedly expected to turn down the Gunners’ latest offer.

The Times report that Arsenal have agreed personal terms on a five-year deal for Mudryk, echoing reports from the weekend, whilst Ukrainian outlets claim the player has already held talks with Mikel Arteta over his role in the team.

Mudryk has hinted at his interest in an Arsenal move on a couple of occasions recently, posting pictures while he watched the games against West Ham United and Brighton and Hove Albion.

Currently on a winter break with Shakhtar, Mudryk has scored 10 goals and assisted eight in 18 appearances for Shakhtar Donetsk this season, including five goals and assists in his six Champions League appearances.

If Arsenal don’t agree a deal with Shakhtar before the end of the week, Mudryk will travel to Turkey for their training camp beginning on January 9th.
