Tottenham have been pursuing Pedro Porri throughout the transfer window and it appears they will finally secure their man.

Sporting Lisbon have identified former Arsenal player, Hector Bellerin, as Porro’s replacement.

Bellerin, who joined Barcelona last year, is reportedly ready to move to Portugal in the coming days to aid the transfer after recently rejecting a return to the Premier League with Everton.

Antonio Conte’s side have been in the market for a right-back and Porro is their primary target for the transfer window.

The clubs had struggled to reach an agreement on a payment structure, but it appears that the deal is now set to be completed before Tuesday’s deadline.

Tottenham’s pursuit of Porro had hit a roadblock when Sporting Lisbon seemed to be dragging their feet on the deal, but now it looks like the transfer will finally go through.

In addition to securing Porro, Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp could also leave the club on loan. Skipp has only made eight league appearances for Spurs this season and has struggled to regain his form from the 2021-2022 season. The midfielder had established himself as a key player for Tottenham, but a pelvic injury last July has impacted his performance.

In conclusion, Tottenham’s move for Porro appears to be going ahead, and the club will finally secure their main transfer target for the window.

Meanwhile, Bellerin is ready to replace Porro at Sporting Lisbon with his return to Barcelona not going as he would have hoped.
