Reports suggest he was at the training ground to collect his belongings and say goodbye to his teammates ahead of a rumoured move to Sporting CP in Portugal.

The details of the transfer are being ironed out between the two sides, which could see the fee either paid now or later in the summer.

Bellerin signed with Barcelona last summer on a free transfer, but after an injury limited his playtime to only 494 minutes, he failed to secure a starting spot and made just five starts in seven appearances.

The move to Sporting CP has caught the attention of Real Betis, who were previously expecting Bellerin to join them for free next summer.

They also want to bring back Dani Ceballos but it looks like he could be on the verge of earning himself yet another renewal with Real Madrid with his recent performances for the side.

Sporting are expected to pay around €1m for Bellerin’s services with Arsenal picking up 25% of that due to a sell-on clause in his contract.
