Tom Smith, 21, has ended his loan spell at Bromley and joined Colchester United for the rest of the season in League Two.

He played 13 games in National League with Bromley, conceding 19 and keeping three cleansheets.

Smith’s previous National League loans were not successful.

The goalkeeper began his loan journey with Salisbury FC in 2019 where he made 10 appearances, however, a knee injury caused him to leave early.

Smith’s time at Dover Athletic was impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and he only appeared in three league games.

At Welling United, he suffered another injury after just a few league games.

Arsenal have also recalled Omar Rekik in order to send him to Wigan Athletic, Arthur Okonkwo, Ovie Ejeheri, Brooke Norton-Cuffy, and Miguel Azeez.
