Galatasaray only signed Lucas Torreira from Arsenal for €6m in the summer.

Now, however, it seems as if the player is already agitating for another move.

Amid interest from AC Milan, Torreira’s agent has held meetings with Galatasaray who would be willing to let him leave for €15m – more than double what they paid Arsenal just six months ago.

Torreira’s move to Galatasaray always seemed a weird one.

First, there was the fact that Galatasaray put their hand in their pocket to pay for anybody from Arsenal.

Mainly, however, there was interest from top clubs in Europe for the Uruguayan midfielder, particularly from Italy, the country he seems to want to return to.

A  move to Fiorentina, where the 26-year-old enjoyed a good loan spell, fell apart and, in the end, Torreira moved to Turkey, despite initially delaying on the deal.
