Arsenal have apparently made an approach for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and are keen to bring him to the club as soon as possible after being turned down in the summer.

Over the summer, Arsenal reportedly made an approach for Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but the player wasn’t overly interested in the move.

Now, however, a report claims he has changed his mind given how Arsenal’s season has gone so far.

Juventus and Real Madrid are also said to be interested in the central midfielder, but Quotidiano Nazionale claim that Arsenal are the only side to have made a ‘concrete’ move for the 27-year-old Serb.

They believe Juventus would prefer to wait until the summer.

QN state that Arsenal have not yet received an answer to their ‘move’ but add, that Arsenal “always vigilant to understand how the situation will develop: the Premier League is a championship that the Serbian likes, but first we will have to satisfy the president’s economic requests.”

While this latest report does not mention a price, at the start of November, it was claimed that Arsenal were ready to make an offer of €60m plus Albert Sambi Lonkonga for Milinkovic-Savic.

Arsenal have been linked with Milinkovic-Savic for at least seven years.
