FootyHeadlines report that there will be no surprises in the colouring of Arsenal’s new home kit for the 2023/24 season, with the Gunners set to wear the usual red and white. However, the sleeves are apparently set for a change.

Since the switch to Adidas, Arsenal’s home shirts have always used a red body and white sleeves, with the white colouring stopping once it reaches the shoulder.

This is in contrast to Puma, who mostly used raglan sleeves for their Arsenal shirts, where the sleeve extends fully to the collar.

Despite the Adidas kits proving significantly more popular than the Puma shirts with the fans, it seems Adidas are set to take a risk and employ raglan sleeves on their new shirt design.

FootyHeadlines point out that as well as the information they’ve been given by their source on the new Arsenal kit, it’s also worth noting that every Adidas kit at the 2022 World Cup uses raglan sleeves.

So that seems to be the direction the kit manufacturer are going in, making a similar design for Arsenal all the more likely.

FootyHeadlines put together a concept kit of what the new shirt could look like, based on the existing World Cup kits.

It seems we’re heading into kit leak season at the moment, with FootyHeadlines also revealing that Adidas are set to release a sponsorless version of the third kit next season.

We should get more details in the coming months before the official release next summer.
