FootyHeadlines report that whilst Adidas’ on-field shirts in 2023/24 will feature the main sponsors, as usual, an alternative version will be sold to fans without the logos.

Arsenal are one of the clubs this will apply to, meaning fans will be able to purchase a version of next season’s third-kit shirt without the Emirates branding.

Adidas’ motivation is to try and push shirts as stylish fashion items, which is easier to do without the commercial branding.

But FootyHeadlines add that since these alternative kits won’t be worn on the pitch, other variations from the matchday shirt are expected.

As examples, they write that we could see oversized fits, different fabrics, and additional visual design elements. So we may not get an exact replica of the third kit without the logos, there may be some other alterations.

For the time being, we don’t know what the new Arsenal third kit is going to look like anyway. No details on any of the 2023/24 Arsenal kits have leaked yet.

This year’s shirts have gone down very well with supporters, but it remains to be seen whether next year’s options are so popular.

Adidas signed a new deal with Arsenal recently, taking their kit partnership all the way to 2030. So now that’s sorted, it’s up to Adidas to produce shirts the fans want to buy.
