Arsenal contact Estevao Willian’s agent

Arsenal have reportedly contacted the agent of Brazilian ‘wonderkid’ Estevao Willian who has already been compared to Lionel Messi.

Earlier this year, Arsenal were briefly linked with a move for the 16-year-old Brazilian Endrick but it didn’t take long for those rumours to be dismissed.

Now, it seems they have found another, even younger Brazilian to try and sign – 15-year-old Estevao Willian.

PSG have reportedly already had an offer turned down for the Palmeiras youngster.

Arsenal are, of course, heavily linked with Palmeiras midfielder, Danilo, so we know there is dialogue between the two clubs. Have they touched on Estevao? It’s not clear.

The report claims that Estevao, nicknamed ‘Messinho’ or ‘Little Messi’ is also wanted by Barcelona.

Regardless, he won’t be allowed to move until he’s 18, which won’t happen until 24 April 2025.

Barcelona confirm talks with Endrick

At the end of November, Barcelona confirmed they held talks with Endrick, the Brazilian teen sensation who is tipped to move to Europe sooner rather than later.

In the last few months, it has been claimed that Arsenal are interested in bringing Endrick to the Emirates in the same way they did with Gabriel Martinelli.

The two deals, however, could not be any more different.

Arsenal were able to sign Martinelli for around £7m as a relative unknown in Europe who had already been rejected by Manchester United.

Palmeiras, however, have already turned down a bid of €45m from PSG for the 16-year-old Endrick.

The main ‘link’ between Arsenal and Endrick seems to be nothing more than Edu’s nationality, the fact that the club signed a teenage Brazilian not that long ago, and that Arsenal have also been scouting at Palmeiras games.

They were there to watch Danilo, who plays for the same team.

In truth, Arsenal don’t seem to have been seriously interested in Endrick, at least not at the price he is going to command.

Step forward Barcelona.

They can’t afford him either, but that’s never stopped them before and no doubt a few more senior players are about to get screwed over so that Barcelona can have the latest shiny toy.

In an exclusive interview with ESPN, Xavi said, “[We] have been talking with his [Endrick’s] father [Douglas Ramos] and also directly with the player too. I explained the project at Barcelona.

“We want talented players, and he is a talent, capable of making difference. He has the great finishing, dribbling and a capacity to make a difference on the pitch. He is a player already of the present — playing in the Brazilian league — and also the future.”

Arsenal are expected to be very busy in the transfer window, hoping to bring in a centreback, winger and midfielder.

None of these deals will involve Endrick.
