If Arsenal are still interested in signing Youri Tielemans from Leicester in January they are facing a growing list of clubs who are being linked with him as the darker nights brings out all the gossip.

Arsenal were heavily linked with a move for Youri Tielemans over the summer but he ended up staying with Leicester for reasons he explains here.

Out of contract in the summer, and with no intention of signing a new deal with the Foxes, January will be the last chance for Leicester to get any money back for the player they paid £40.5m for in 2019 and who still holds that value.

The Daily Mail are now reporting that Barcelona are keeping an eye on the situation, adding their name to Juventus, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, who all apparently like the idea of getting a talented 25-year-old for a bargain price.

I mean, who wouldn’t?

It was previously claimed that Arsenal are prepared to wait until the summer to land Tielemans for free, but with so many other clubs interested – and a thin squad that looks as if it will be stretched to its absolute limit this season – can they really afford to leave things that long?
