Antonio Conte is hopeful that Hugo Lloris will return to the Spurs team on Saturday, but he wouldn’t reveal much about their other injury sufferers.

Ahead of the north London derby this weekend, Spurs boss Antonio Conte was keen to stay tight-lipped on the fitness of his squad.

“Honestly, I don’t want to speak about injuries, because I don’t want to give an advantage to Arsenal,” Conte said. “But, for sure, [we] have to face some physical problems.”

“To be honest, we have to check some players because they returned from the international break with some physical problems.”

That list seemingly includes Dejan Kulusevski, with widespread reports that the Swedish international picked up a problem over the break, but no clarity over whether or not he’ll be involved in the squad on Saturday.

The good news for Spurs fans is that Hugo Lloris is seemingly available, with Conte telling the media: “Hugo is one of the players with some physical problems, but we hope to see him on Saturday.”

Ahead of the international break, Lloris and Ben Davies pulled out of the France and Wales squads respectively.

Lloris had suffered a small injury to his right thigh, whilst Davies had an injury to his knee. It seems Lloris will recover in time for the derby though, and Conte previously suggested that Davies should be back after the break as well.

In other news, Oliver Skipp, Matt Doherty, and Djed Spence all featured over the international break, so they should all be fit after their respective injury problems.

At this stage, it looks like Arsenal are going to be facing a Spurs squad with almost all of their first-choice players available.
