Going into the game, we had expected Mikel Arteta to have a full squad to pick from but just before the lineup was due to be announced, we heard that the both Zinchenko and Partey would be out.

Zinchenko picked up a knee strain while Partey has a tight right hamstring, both injuries were picked up in Friday’s training session.

Elneny was drafted into the midfield instead of Sambi while Marquinhos saw his good form for the youth team rewarded with a spot in first-team training and a place on the bench after Nicolas Pepe was sent to Nice on loan.

Side note – You may want to check out Nice v Marseille tomorrow which will feature no fewer than six former and current Arsenal players.
