One of a few Arsenal youth strikers out on loan at the moment, Nikolaj Moller returned to FC Den Bosch this summer after a brief spell with the club last season.

Moller capped his second debut for the club with a goal, and he’s been in excellent form ever since.

Despite only making six appearances, most of which only lasted a half, Moller has scored four goals and assisted one.

Even in appearances where he didn’t score he’s played a positive role. For example, Moller didn’t get a goal against AFC Amsterdam last week, but one of his shots was turned in on the rebound.

The striker’s most recent goal came in a tightly-contested match against fellow Dutch side Rosmalen, scoring Den Bosch’s equaliser after just three minutes on the pitch.

Moller’s pre-season tally is already better than he managed in a disrupted first spell with Den Bosch, but he needs to keep it up in the competitive fixtures.

Those matches aren’t far away now, with Den Bosch hosting FC Eindhoven on August 5th, the same night Arsenal kick off their Premier League season against Crystal Palace. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for a good night all around.
