The S*n have seemingly sent reporters to hide in bushes again, leaking the first pictures of incoming summer signing Gabriel Jesus arriving at Arsenal and embracing Arsenal’s technical director Edu.

Jesus is preparing to complete his £45m transfer from Manchester City, agreeing a five-year deal with Arsenal.

Reports suggest the Brazilian international is in London for his medical this morning, with all contracts fully agreed and an official announcement set to follow in due course.

Jesus spent five years with Manchester City, winning four Premier League titles among other honours.

The striker provided a combined 25 goals and assists in 41 appearances this season, averaging a goal contribution every 103 minutes.

Arsenal will hope he can keep that record up in North London and add plenty of goals to Mikel Arteta’s side in the coming campaign.

Jesus has plenty of personal motivation, with the World Cup coming up later this year. The stronger he starts at Arsenal, the better his chances of a starting role with Brazil.

Jordan Davies also reports that Jesus’ representatives have just arrived at London Colney. That’s obviously no surprise, with the expectation that he’ll be signing on the dotted line and likely posing for the cameras alongside them.
