On Wednesday, Arsenal confirmed they will face Sevilla in the Emirates Cup this summer, playing on July 30th at 12:30 BST.

Arsenal had also previously announced all the details of their U.S. tour, with a game in Baltimore against Everton on July 16th, followed by two games in Orlando against Orlando City on July 20th and Chelsea on July 23rd.

Though they haven’t confirmed it yet, Arsenal are expected to play two further friendlies on top of that.

Various sources have confirmed a friendly against 1. FC Nürnberg on Friday, July 8th, and Arsenal Fixture News report that Arsenal will also play a behind-closed-doors friendly at London Colney on July 27th.

As it stands, that’s set to be it for the pre-season schedule, so we’re just waiting on official confirmation of the Nürnberg game.

We probably won’t ever get confirmation of the behind-closed-doors match, as Arsenal don’t tend to announce those until after they happen.

Arsenal’s full pre-season schedule as it stands:

  • 8th July – 1. FC Nürnberg vs Arsenal (A)
  • 16th July – Everton vs Arsenal (N)
  • 20th July – Orlando City vs Arsenal (A)
  • 23rd July – Chelsea vs Arsenal (N)
  • 27th July – Behind-closed-doors friendly

While the senior side are on tour, the u18s will reportedly hold a pre-season tour up in Edinburgh from Monday 18th July to Saturday 23rd July.

Jeorge Bird wrote in April that an Arsenal XI (usually a youth team) will also face Boreham Wood in pre-season in July.
