Arsenal are close to confirming plans for pre-season including trips to the USA and Europe, and another edition of the Emirates Cup, according to a report.

Charles Watts reports that Arsenal are set to confirm their pre-season plans soon.
The current plan is for the Gunners to play two games in Orlando for the Florida Cup, likely against Chelsea and Orlando City, as well as another game in the U.S. against Everton.
Then they’ll also play a match in Europe, possibly in Germany, as well as a one-day edition of the Emirates Cup.
There are obviously still some concerns about playing Chelsea, considering the state of the club’s ownership situation at the moment.
If Chelsea are still being sanctioned by the summer, a trip to the U.S. seems unfeasible. But it seems increasingly likely they’ll have completed a takeover by then before returning to normal operations.

Arsenal were set to go to the states for matches against Inter Milan and Everton/Millonarios last summer, but they had to pull out over positive Covid-19 tests in the travelling party. Fans will hope this year’s trip is more successful.
First things first, we need to await confirmation from Arsenal so the supporters can actually start to put their plans to attend in motion.
