Sead Kolasinac is back in light training after his injury, which will only add to the speculation around a January transfer to Watford.

Arsenal confirmed in their pre-Manchester City training photos that Sead Kolasinac is back out on the pitches at London Colney, following his recent ankle injury.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international was expected to return to action in January, so it looks like he’s still on schedule for that.
Kolasinac is unlikely to have a huge part to play for Arsenal in the final months of his deal. The left-back has seen Nuno Tavares come in and replace him as a backup to Kieran Tierney, leaving him third in line for minutes in that position.
It’s a similar story at centre-back, where Rob Holding and Pablo Mari are available even if Gabriel Magalhaes isn’t.
As a result, Kolasinac is more likely to use his return to fitness to complete a transfer to Watford in the January transfer window.
The Watford Observer recently reported that Watford had held initial talks with Arsenal over a potential loan for Kolasinac.
The talks focused on a temporary switch with shared wages, but they were far from conclusive. The player’s wages are an obstacle, even if they’re shared.
The plan from Watford’s side would be to essentially give Kolasinac a test run until the summer and then sign him on a permanent deal as a free agent if things work out.

The Telegraph initially claimed that Watford were on the search for a centre-back, and they were considering Kolasinac.
Kolasinac obviously joined Arsenal as a wing-back/full-back, but he’s since spent a lot of time at centre-back. Claudio Ranieri is apparently keen.
