With the transfer window still two months away from opening, rumours are already starting to pick up and it seems like nearly all of them involve Aaron Ramsey.

That’s not true, of course, there are many other players involved, but Aaron Ramsey is certainly featuring in a lot of them as Juventus look to shift the midfielder on.

Arsenal are apparently interested in Dusan Vlahovic, Fiorentina’s young striker who has scored 10 goals in 12 appearances this season but so are Juventus, and that’s where Aaron Ramsey comes in.

Juventus apparently think they can ship him to Fiorentina in order to land Vlahovic.

Ramsey has also been strongly linked with a move to Newcastle and they would be far better positioned to pay the Welshman’s extraordinary wages.

Fiorentina would not.

Ramsey is said to earn about €350kpw, a wage agreed because he didn’t come with any sort of transfer fee from Arsenal.

The midfielder, who will turn 31 on Boxing Day, has played just 112 minutes this season – 98 in Serie A and 14 in the Champions League.

Ramsey has been ruled out of three games with muscular problems. In the three Serie A games he’s featured in, he’s played as defensive mid (his only start), attacking mid and central mid.

Vlahovic, meanwhile, is only 21.

He is also under contract until 2023. The Serbian is also still on the first contract he signed when he arrived in Florence in 201 from Partizan Belgrade.
