Juventus are exploring the option of swapping Aaron Ramsey with Leicester City in order to sign Timothy Castagne but if a deal happens it looks like it would be two loans.
It was reported that Juventus wanted to move Aaron Ramsey on during the summer but the Welshman wasn’t that bothered about leaving.
He was, of course, linked with Arsenal and continues to be. The latest iteration of Ramsey’s return involves Granit Xhaka going the other way.
Ramsey will not be coming back to Arsenal.
He could well return to the Premier League, however, and a number of clubs are interested in signing him.
West Ham and Crystal Palace have both been linked, but Leicester City are the latest club to find themselves embroiled in Ramsey’s future.
Calciomercatonews report that Juventus would quite like to sign Timonty Castagne from the Foxes, with an ‘exchange of loans’ between the two clubs involving the 25-year-old Belgian, who has started two of Leicester’s last four games (he was injured for the first two), and Aaron Ramsey.
Both loans would also come with a ‘right of redemption’.
Ramsey’s contract in Turin runs until 2023 and the midfielder has also been linked with a move to Spurs, but he’s already made his feelings on that sort of move perfectly clear.
Rambo has played just 106 minutes this season, and 60 of those came in the opening Serie A game of the season.
Ramsey has played just 38 minutes of Juventus’ last four league games.
