Arsenal currently have 17 players out on loan and eight of them were in action this weekend.
Daniel Ballard got on the scoresheet with Millwall as they grabbed a point at West Brom with a 1-1 draw. Ballard’s goal was the equaliser, too. Last season, while on loan with Blackpool, Ballard scored two.
After the game, Ballard hailed a ‘very good week’. He told the official Millwall site, “It’s been a very good week!
“The goal with Northern Ireland was a really proud moment for me, so I was coming back on a high anyway, but then to get the goal here as well, in front of the away fans, is really special – as you could see by the celebration!”
Arsenal defender Dan Ballard scored his first senior goal for Northern Ireland tonight.
Harry Clarke played the full 90 for Ross County as they lost 3-0 at Celtic while Dejan Iliev kept his second cleansheet for SFK Sered.
Finally, after watching their first Serie A match from the bench, Lucas Torreira played his first minutes for Fiorentina, featuring for 66 minutes before he was replaced by Sofyan Amrabat.
Reiss Nelson has not yet made his debut for Feyenoord. They have not had any matches since he signed on deadline day and has been omitted from their Europa Conference League squad for their game on Tuesday against Maccabi Haifa due a lack of fitness.
