Arsenal smashed six past West Brom, without reply, on Wednesday night, scoring for the 32nd game in a row against them. It was Arsenal’s biggest ever win over the Baggies and Alexandre Lacazette’s goal was his fifth in five games against the same opponents.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s hattrick represented his first ever goals in the League Cup in what was his fourth game. His first Premier League hattrick came against Leeds back in February.

Arsenal have never played AFC Wimbledon before, the club forming in 2002 when Wimbledon became MK Dons and a group of fans decided to set up AFC Wimbeldon rather than support a club that was now located some 60 miles north of Wimbledon. Like Arsenal moving to Brighton.

Against the original Wimbledon, Arsenal had a record of played 28, won 13, drawn 8, lost 7.
