Juventus want to sell Aaron Ramsey this summer but have not received any offers for the cut-price midfielder.

Ever since he joined Juventus on a free transfer in 2019, Aaron Ramsey has been linked with an exit and it looks like this summer could actually be the one he moves to another club.

That’s if Juventus can find a buyer.

Ramsey is currently worth around £12.6m and Juventus seem happy to take around €10m (£8.5m) for the player they paid nothing for. This issue is Ramsey’s wages. If the buying club aren’t prepared to pay those in full, it’s unlikely Ramsey will agree to move on.

So say the reports in Italy, anyway.

There has always been some confusion around Ramsey’s Juventus wages but there is no doubt they are substantial and at least £200kpw. The types of clubs that can afford to pay that sort of money every week aren’t generally looking to pay it to a 30-year-old with a terrible injury history, who also has a transfer fee attached.

There have been rumours that Arsenal are interested in re-signing Ramsey, but that’s all they are. Arsenal are not interested and have a very different profile in mind for the players they want to bring in.

David Baldwin, Ramsey’s agent, has also said there is nothing to the Arsenal claims. Responding to a tweet reposting the rumours, Baldwin said: “I’m sorry but can you stop making things up, please. There is not a shred of truth in your tweet.”

When someone then pointed out that the tweet was just a repost of Calciomercato’s story, Baldwin replied: “Then just to be clear, neither his tweet [nor] the sources it came from are correct!”
