Aaron Ramsey has been plagued with thigh and hamstring problems every since Ryan Shawcross snapped his leg in two when he was a teenager so it’s somewhat fitting that the midfielder, who has shone every time he has played this season, looks likely to see out his Arsenal career in the treatment room.

Although Arsenal have not confirmed the news that Ramsey’s Arsenal career is finished, with just a handful of games to go and no word from the club, it’s not a huge leap to make.

The S*n report that the Welshman has been told by specialists that he has no chance of returning, even if Arsenal make the Europa League final in Baku at the end of May.

Ramsey’s contract with Arsenal expires on June 30 after which time he will become a Juventus player.
