Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in Tammy Abraham, who is a boyhood fan of the Gunners and expected to leave Chelsea this summer.

The Beautiful Game Podcast were the first to break Arsenal interest in Tammy Abraham earlier this week.

The Telegraph then reported that Chelsea are looking to cash in on Tammy Abraham this summer, making him available for £40m. They’ve offered him around to Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, and Tottenham Hotspur already.

Arsenal are interested, but would need to sell before they could buy. The most likely player to move on to fund a move for Abraham would be Alexandre Lacazette, with Arsenal open to offers for the Frenchman.

If Arsenal did come in for him, Abraham would be keen. He’s a boyhood fan of the Gunners and hasn’t been playing at all regularly under Thomas Tuchel.

West Ham United like Abraham too, but they can’t afford the £40m asking price, whilst Leicester City were linked but have since signed Patson Daka.

Obviously, signing a striker isn’t a priority for Arsenal this summer. There are plenty of other positions to address first, even if Albert Sambi Lokonga and Ben White complete their transfers as expected.

Any move for Abraham would certainly require one or two to leave first. It’s simply being raised as a possibility if that happens.
