Sky Sport Italia report that with his contract expiring at the end of the season and still no agreement over an extension, Hakan Calhanoglu is receiving offers for a summer exit.

Milan are offering Calhanoglu €4m a year, but the player is asking for €5m. Juventus, Arsenal, and Chelsea are reportedly among the club thinking about taking him on a free transfer if that situation doesn’t change.

Arsenal have reportedly submitted an offer to Calhanoglu’s entourage, though they haven’t matched Juventus’ offer from a financial standpoint.

The 27-year-old has seven goals and 10 assists for Milan in 34 appearances this season, his fourth campaign in Italy. He’s hit similar numbers in each of the last three seasons, so there’s nothing to suggest this one is an outlier.

The Turkish international has also been very impressive for his country lately, scoring two and assisting three in three World Cup qualifiers against the Netherlands, Norway, and Latvia over the last international break.

We know Arsenal will be on the lookout for an attacking midfielder in the summer window, and the fact that Calhanoglu can also play out wide on the left will only make him more appealing.
