Arsenal want almost twice what PSG are offering for Hector Bellerin, insisting on a price tag of €39m from the Ligue 1 champions.

Paris Fans report that PSG do hold an interest in Hector Bellerin, and did put a primary offer in for the player. At this stage, however, they’re still a long way off an agreement.

According to the Parisian outlet, PSG only offered €20m for the player. Arsenal are asking for €39m, so the gap in valuations is relatively large right now. Discussions will continue, but any agreement is a long way off.

RMC Sport (via GFFN) reported at the end of August that Paris Saint-Germain were looking at the possibility of a move for Hector Bellerin this summer. Arsenal were reportedly considering offloading the 25-year-old.

The claims suggested PSG were ‘offered’ the right-back. It wasn’t clear whether it was representatives acting on behalf of Bellerin doing the offering or on behalf of Arsenal.

Either way, PSG supposedly asked for time to think about any potential transfer before making a decision. They’re said to be particularly wary of Bellerin’s recent injury problems.

This update came just a few days after Fabrizio Romano denied any chance of a Juventus swap deal between Bellerin and Daniele Rugani. David Ornstein also claimed Arsenal want Bellerín to stay.

Yet the rumours about a potential exit still keep coming back and now we have Ornstein saying the club are in ‘dialogue’ with PSG about selling Bellerin.

Meanwhile, Ed Aarons reports Arsenal have received a £25m offer (slightly larger than the €20m bid Paris Fans are reporting) and James Benge says the player is at a ‘personal crossroads’.
